SNUG’s long standing and consistent goal has been to drive forward innovation to achieve better outcomes for vulnerable new families. A fairer start, a healthier life and a strong community are among the many things that can impact positively on perinatal mental health.
Our Neonatal Pathways Project was a period of rich learning for SNUG which wouldn’t of been possible without the partners, allies and critical friends who have informed and encourages our work, shaped and challenged our thinking and through their wisdom, have enabled us to support many others

Working with local communities
In the South West we know that community-led solutions produce longer lasting and more meaningful changes for new parents and their babies. When communities work together well, motivation and empowerment is harnessed, passions are driven forward and innovations unleashed! SNUG are very proud to work with and alongside a range of other service providers, all with their own passions, ideas and successes. As a collective group of providers who all focus on offering support during the perinatal period we work together to ensure a wide range of services are available to families, so whatever their start in life families have the strength, compassion and resources they need to thrive.
