Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Bill

The Neonatal Care (leave and pay) Bill has passed through the difference stages of parliament and now the Bill has become an act of parliament, and it is hoping to be implemented by spring 2025.  The purpose of the bill is to give parents that are caring for their babies in a neonatal unit better support than they are currently receiving. This bill would ensure that both parents will get up to 12 weeks of extra leave, which will enable them to be able to spend this important time with their babies.
